Our Homesteading Workshops bring people together to learn the hands-on skills that once formed the backbone of rural life — and are making a powerful comeback today. Whether you're eager to become more self-sufficient, curious about traditional practices, or simply love learning in a community setting, these events are designed to empower, inspire, and reconnect you with the land.
Workshops may include:

Calm Your Farm – Chill With the Critters
Sometimes you don't need a full tour — you simply want the grounding, heart-softening calm that animals naturally provide. This slow-paced session is perfect for adults, teens, and sensitive kids who need a gentle reset.

  • Patting, brushing, feeding
  • Sensory-friendly paddock time
  • No phone zone — fully present

Grow a Garden Kids Workshop

A hands-on farm experience designed for curious little growers. Includes a full Farmarama tour plus a mini gardening session where each child plants a seedling to take home.

NDIS Participants Welcome (Weekdays)
Calm, sensory-friendly farm sessions tailored for NDIS participants seeking grounding, confidence-building, or simple animal connection.
Includes:
  • Slow-paced tour
  • Gentle animal time
  • Quiet spaces available
  • Support workers welcome

⚠️ Note: This is a working farm with no disabled bathroom facilities. wheelchair access is limted but tours can be madified to be shorter with still a great amount of animal interaction
Healing at the Farm
Reconnect with yourself through nature-based energy healing. Held outdoors or inside our peaceful healing hut using traditional Usui Reiki or animal-assisted techniques.

Petting & Painting – Tweens & Teens

Cooee- Create & Connect Parties
A perfect creative outlet for mingling with friends old and new, work parties or a 1:1 lessson if you prefer to get into your groove. Did you know that COOEE -Create & Connect parties are a part of the Rural Sisterhood project of the NEA Association -Proceeds go towards helping rural Aussie women overcome isolation, hardship and heal from DV and FV.

Conscious Kids Club — Membership (Ages 6–12)
A monthly membership for kids aged 6–12 designed to reconnect children with nature, animals, responsibility and confidence. Each session includes a full feeding tour plus a different farm-learning module each month.
Monthly Themes May Include:
  • How to keep backyard chickens
  • How to groom a horse safely
  • Basic gardening + soil lessons
  • Understanding animal body language
  • Farm hygiene + responsibility
  • Seasonal food + seed cycle
Includes:
  • Monthly* farm feeding tour
  • Mindful grounding with animals
  • Hands-on themed learning module
  • Small groups for quality connection
  • Take-home learning sheet/activity
**No lock-in contract. Offered 2 sessions during the school term. for total of 8 club meetings per year
